From 5-8 January and for the second consecutive year, Ontech attended CES 2017, the world’s largest consumer electronics event organised by the Consumer Technology Association. The event, which took place in Las Vegas, USA, is one of the main international showcases for various technologies. With its own stand, the Ontech team presented the new Wardiam security products based on Controlled Magnetic Field (CMF) technology. This included the new Wardiam Perimeter, an exclusive Ontech product patented internationally and intended to provide protection and security for large perimeters and critical infrastructure through the use of a network of sensors using CMF technology.
In addition, the new Wardiam ONE Fire was presented, the first system designed to detect persons or animals when a fire occurs. This exclusive product, which is patented internationally, comprises three internal sensors used to detect fires using smoke and carbon monoxide (CO) detectors and temperature sensors. The ground-breaking innovation of Wardiam ONE Fire is its thermal camera which is able to identify whether people or animals are within the area to be protected as well as a laser pointer which indicates the exit in case of low visibility due to smoke.
Ontech, which was the only Spanish company to attend CES 2016, was joined by two others at this latest edition: Soundeluxe and Momit. However, the only one dedicated to security technology was Ontech, which attracted interest from many large companies thanks to its innovative technology.
