Ontech, finalist in two categories at the Security & Fire Excellence Awards in London

• For the second consecutive year, Ontech is selected as a finalist for two awards at the largest UK security event.
• The categories for which Ontech is a finalist are: Active Fire Innovation of the Year and Intruder Alarm or Exterior Deterrent Product of the Year.

For the second time in two consecutive years, Ontech returns as a finalist in two categories at the Security & Fire Excellence Awards in London. This time the nomination categories include: Active Fire Innovation of the Year and Intruder Alarm or Exterior Deterrent Product of the Year.

The products presented for these awards were Wardiam PRO Fire and Wardiam Perimeter.  Wardiam PRO Fire is the first and only fire detection system with a built-in thermal camera designed to detect the presence people or animals when a fire occurs and a built-in laser pointer to direct them to the exit even when smoke impedes their vision. Wardiam Perimeter was designed to provide unmatched security for large infrastructures and perimeters utilizing a network of Ontech´s proprietary Controlled Magnetic Field sensors to detect both when a prowler approaches the secured perimeter and to know when and where an actual intrusion occurs.

The gala dinner and the awards ceremony will take place on November 22 at the London Hilton Hotel in Park Lane. The event, organized by IFSEC International and FIREX International, is already in its eighteenth edition and annually brings together about 1,000 security experts to recognize the best innovations, products and professionals in the sector.
