Ontech wins the award for the best product in the intrusion detection and prevention solutions category at ISC West, Las Vegas

According to the jury at ISC West Las Vegas, Ontech’s Controlled Magnetic Fields technology represents «a ground-breaking innovation in the security sector». Ontech managed to prevail over the large companies in the sector such as Bosh, United Technologies, Samsung, Honeywell, Siemens and Tyco.

On 8 April last year, Ontech received the award for the best product in the intrusion detection and prevention solutions category at ISC West, held in Las Vegas, USA. The award given to the Wardiam security system, which is based on Controlled Magnetic Fields technology (CMF) is a major milestone for the company founded just four years ago.

According to the jury at ISC West in Las Vegas, CMF represents «a ground-breaking innovation in the security sector due to being able to discriminate between people, animals and objects». Patented at international level, it acts as a prevention measure detecting the unknown person before an intrusion occurs. In addition, it means that detection systems can be constantly active, even when the occupants are at home, and able to detect and report the fraudulent use of blockers in all its wireless communications.

With recognised competitors including Bosh, United Technologies, Samsung, Honeywell, Siemens and Tyco, Ontech has been successful in one of the most significant categories at the world’s largest security event. For Isidoro Sánchez, President of the company, «this award recognises the innovative and differentiating character of this technology which, to date, has only revealed some of its more obvious applications, such as those relating to domestic security and industrial security».

Given the numerous options presented by this low-intensity controlled magnetic field technology, Ontech continues to research vertical lines of use and has already patented 20 applications for the domestic and professional sectors.
