Ontech obtains the UNE-EN-ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 9100:2009 certifications

• Ontech receives its ISO 9001 and 9100 conformity certification confirming that the company´s quality management system is capable and compliant in accordance with the requirements of UNE-EN-ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 9100:2009 standards.
• The scope of these certifications applies to the «design, manufacture and assembly of electrical detection devices».

In early September, Ontech successfully implemented its management system according to UNE-EN-ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 9100:2009 standards for the design, manufacture and assembly of electrical detection devices. The achievement of this milestone involved many months of work between the company`s production, design and engineering teams and clearly demonstrating the organization’s commitment to continuous improvement of its processes.

These certifications further confirm the company´s continued commitment to its clients to maintain stable and reliable processes in all the stages of production, from design to through final product delivery. In addition, the implementation of this system makes traceability possible in any part of the process.

The certification entity of the management system has been European Quality Assurance.
